Port of Entry-Portland, Maine

A Port of Entry is any designated place at which a CBP officer is authorized to accept entries of merchandise to collect duties, and to enforce the various provisions of the customs and navigation laws (19 CFR 101.1).

To assure timely service, pilots are requested to telephone Customs prior to takeoff from Canada. 2 hour advance notice required. Regular business hours, 0800-1700, Monday through Friday. Contact prior to 1800 on preceding weekday for after hour service.
